Malibu resident Jonathan Toker completed and won the 2014 TransRockies Trail Race, with a time of 16:54:28. The 116-mile running event is completed over six days in the Colorado Rockies.
Toker trained in the local Malibu mountains and claims this was key in preparing for the 20,000 feet of climbing throughout the race. Approximately 400 runners participated, and the event was sponsored in part by Toker’s company’s brand, SaltStick.
