Jeff Henderson will give the next lecture in the 2014 Malibu Library Speaker Series on Wednesday, Sept. 3. The series, supported by funding set aside for the County of Los Angeles, the City of Malibu and the Malibu Library, will host Jeff Henderson at the Civic Theater at Malibu City Hall, 23825 Stuart Ranch Rd.
Henderson is an award-winning chef and bestselling author, with a story of redemption after having found a passion for cooking while serving nearly a decade in prison for drugs. He has now run kitchens at the Bellagio and Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas.
Henderson plans to share his personal story with those who attend the event, as well as discuss his new show, “The Chef Jeff Project,” which he hopes will help at-risk youth to turn their lives around while working for his catering company.
