The Malibu Little League 11-12 All-Star’s season came to an end with an 11-8 loss to Ladera Heights in the championship game. Malibu defeated West Los Angeles, 10-6, and Santa Monica East, 14-4, last week to stay alive in the District 25 Tournament.
Russell Kish continued his hot hitting with another home run and finished the tournament 15-for-20 for a .750 batting average, four home runs (including two grand slams), three doubles, a triple and a whopping 25 RBIs in just six games.
Bowen Brock caught 27 of 30 innings in the tournament and batted 12-for-17 (.706 avg.) with eight runs scored and three RBIs, including a double vs. West L.A.
