Alberto Perussett, Malibu resident and barefoot marathon runner, completed the Los Angeles Marathon in five hours and 10 minutes March 20. The race, which took place during a bout of recent rainfall, was Perusset’s fifth barefoot marathon and his 44th overall. He plans to compete in his next marathon May 1 in Orange County.
