Twenty-five participants attended “Anime Your Way,” an event that was sponsored by the Friends of the Malibu Library. The class, led by Carlos Nieto III, learned how to illustrate their favorite anime characters — or create their own from scratch — through a step-by-step drawing program. Nieto also explained a brief history of the evolution of cartooning and anime styles.
