From May 29 to 31, the Young Actors Project performed two plays, “The Tempest” and “Treasure Island.” One of Saturday’s performances, “Treasure Island,” was directed and produced by Shoshana Kuttner. The show took place at the Malibu Playhouse, by actors aged nine through 12. The role of “Long John Silver” was played by Hamish Buran and Claire Buran played “Billy Bones.”
Young Actors Project is a nonprofit arts education organization that offers after-school and summer performing arts programs to young actors in Malibu since 2005.
