World Oceans Day is Monday, June 8, and Marmalade Cafe in Malibu’s Civic Center is participating in an all-day benefit to support Sea Save Foundation’s ocean conservation efforts.
Throughout the day, 15 percent of proceeds from Marmalade’s five locations, including Malibu, will be put toward Sea Save, a Malibu-based nonprofit that works to protect oceans through public advocacy.
“World Oceans Day brings awareness and understanding to the plight of the world’s oceans,” said Georgienne Bradley, Sea Save Foundation Director, in a statement. “Every dollar we receive from the Marmalade Café ‘Dine and Donate’ event will go directly to cutting-edge ocean conservation efforts.”
