In our hearts we sense the gravity of this moment in our nation and on the planet. We are at a crossroads as never before. This has captured our undivided attention and focused it on the possibility to see with new eyes. Peace can come from a shift in our outlook away from the “me first project” to the place of what is best to sustain life on the planet and what is best to sustain the planet itself. This shift is toward heart conteredness where we show each other our humanity, a place beyond fear of differences to a place of connectedness as human beings.
This will allow for global humanitarian competition to achieve solution to the problems which affect our existence. This would replace the constant striving to acquire wealth and power. By taking an assertive, proactive position we can empower each single voice to join in unison to send a powerful message and consciousness for peace out into the world. Ultimately it is the voice of the people that teaches the leaders.
