Last Monday, actor and comedian Jack Black and Kyle Gass, the other member of his longtime comedy-rock band, Tenacious D, appeared for an audience Q&A after a screening of the first episode of “Post-Apocalypto,” a six-part YouTube series that marks their first project in six years.
The animated series, hand-drawn by Black, features the duo having a series of twisted adventures after the nuclear apocalypse. All music and voices are by the pair. The soundtrack album being released Nov. 2 is the group’s fourth LP. The album’s drums will, once again, be provided by Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters. Tenacious D will go on tour in November and December.
