Juan Cabrillo Elementary School alumna and past student body president of Malibu Park Junior High School Alison Gallwey Wishard Guerra is returning to Malibu from San Diego to speak to the Malibu Rotary Club about her work with early childhood development.
Wishard is an assistant professor at the University of California, San Diego in the education studies department. She studied at the University of California, Santa Cruz, as well as the University of California, Los Angeles, where she earned a doctorate degree from the School of Psychology Studies in Education in 2005, with a specialty in early childhood development and multicultural children.
