In response to the Surfrider Foundations accusations, our good Mayor, Andy Stern, says that “Malibu is a town of 13,000 residents.” “It is pleased to host over 15 million visitors per year.” Words spoken like a true politician out of touch with his constituents.
With few exceptions the only residents of Malibu that could possibly be pleased with 15 million visitors are some merchants. The rest of us dread the summer influx that jams our roads and trashes the beaches.
