In response to “Blog: La-La Land,” published Feb. 9.
I thought Burt Ross’ guest column “La-La Land” had a clear and powerful message to the public. I’m happy Burt’s getting my feelings out where they can be seen. I see the protest marches on television and the mortal unhappiness Trump’s signatures have wrought, indicating he has nothing to do with the word “humanity.” The word “empathy” seems also lost in his dreams of personal glory.
I’ve loved living a life and struggling in a democratic nation, but to see what we’ve so laboriously achieved, so quickly discarded, is disheartening.
Where are our psychologists and psychotherapists? I’d love to read a well-publicized consensus on our leader’s sanity.
