After suffering severe damage during the Woolsey Fire, the bridge on Mulholland Highway near Troutdale has reopened.
The Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station shared the news on social media on Memorial Day.
“It’s a one lane bridge controlled by a 2 Phase light,” the sheriff’s department described.
Additionally, a specific path for pedestrians and bicycles was created. They will not be allowed on the one-lane bridge.
The original bridge’s steel beams melted in the fire, rendering the bridge unusable until now. The bridge was scheduled to be closed through May 31, as reported previously by The Malibu Times.
