It seems we have a our very own Donald Trump right here in our local politics.
Our newly elected official didn’t like what he saw and heard this week at the city council meeting, so he’s asked for “alternative facts,” in an attempt to dismiss what the people of Malibu clearly need and deserve at Bluffs Park. He insulted the entire front row of people attending the meeting, calling them all “Gold diggers.” He is intimidated by an ex–officio commissioner on Parks and Rec, so now he’s going to try and do away with them all.
Fortunately, the local resistance is strong.
Thanks for showing up en mass Monday night. We sure took him by surprise.
As for him — shame on you!
