Pepperdine University students will have a new residence hall to look forward to in the fall. The university confirmed its opening on social media, and said “We’re looking forward to welcoming the inaugural residents of the new Seaside Residence Hall this fall!”
Seaside Residence Hall is part of Pepperdine’s Campus Life Project. The hall is located at the site of the former Upsilon parking lot, Upsilon House and Morgan House.
Construction began back in Dec. 2016 and is expected to be completed in August. Seaside Residence Hall will contain 458 beds, community kitchen, lounge area, workout room, study room and outdoor “gathering spaces.”
According to the university’s website, the residence will add 358 additional beds (on top of the original amount) to house students. Visit community.pepperdine.edu/constructionupdates/projects for more information.
