Two players from the Malibu Rugby Club, Alex Rylance and Nick Betts, recently took part in a rugby tour of Cuba. The team made it to the finals of the competition before ultimately falling to a team from Canada in the championship game. On the way to the final, the team beat the Cuban national team, the Trinidad and Tobago national team, and the German national team.
The Malibu Rugby Club plans to travel to Argentina and Uruguay on another international tour this fall.
