My experience at Malibu High School began in a different way than most. While most of the students at MHS have been attending since middle school, I joined the high school community in 9th grade. Waking up at 5 a.m. every morning to commute to school was a hassle to say the least but, by meeting good friends who also attended Malibu High, I was able stay at their local homes overnight for school days, making my trip progressively easier.

I would like to send out a special thank you to the teachers, administrators, counselors, and staff for making the school environment as enjoyable as possible. The teachers are some of the most willing teachers I have ever had the privilege to be taught by. Being there to assist me at anytime during my high school career, and making it a duty of theirs to make it so that each and every student leaves school with proper knowledge of school subjects and trending topics of the world. Also, thank you to the administrators for orchestrating school activities and listening to the voice of the student body. Thank you to the counselors who made sure that I remained on task to graduate high school and take myself to a higher stage of learning. Thank you to the staff for ensuring a safe and appropriate environment for the students to learn in. Thank you to the Malibu High School advisors who counseled multiple events hosted by the students as well as the administration that helped increase school spirit and bring the student body closer over my time at MHS. Last but not least, I would like to send a warm thank you out to the parents, as you all have welcomed me into the Malibu community with open arms and have worked diligently to be involved with high school events; making the experience well worth it for all of the students.

Although I am leaving to further pursue my education on a college level, I will not forget the lessons I have learned here in my time at Malibu High School. I will use those lessons to better myself as time goes by and to one day teach those lessons to kids who require them.
