Malibu SAR rescues motorcycle driver over Latigo Canyon

The Malibu Search and Rescue Team responded to a situation at Latigo Canyon where a 44-year-old male crashed his motorcycle into a guardrail on Sunday, Oct. 15, according to information shared on the Malibu SAR Facebook page. The male was ejected from the motorcycle and landed over the side of railing, down the cliff. 

Malibu SAR, California Highway Patrol, McCormick Ambulance and the LA County Sheriff’s Department Air Rescue 5 all worked together to rescue the man from his fall. 

He was flown safely to a hospital for evaluation and treatment, according to SAR.
