Gan Malibu students got to experience a day in the life of a police officer when they were visited by Sheriff’s Deputy Jennifer Glennan and Michael Cerveny last week.
As a follow-up to their Thanksgiving visit, the deputies taught Gan students about safety and emphasized that a police officer’s job is to protect the community. Students were then given the chance to try on police gear and sit in the driver’s seat of a police vehicle.
“Gan Malibu Preschool is grateful for the County of Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department for sending two of their best to the school for such a great day,” a Gan representative said.
