A scorcher continued across Southern California on Thursday, including triple-digit weather in Malibu.

Temperature readings at a Point Dume/Westward Beach station hit a peak of 107 degrees, according to Weather Underground, as thousands of visitors flocked to local beaches.

Several wildfires continued burning in SoCal as well, though none broke out in Malibu amid dry conditions. The forecast for this weekend is dramatically lower than the past week, with highs forecast in the 60s and 70s.
