Malibu Business & Shipping Center will continue to support the relief efforts to earthquake victims in Haiti by serving as a drop-off location for public donations of cash, nonperishable items, new and used clothing, shoes, diapers, sanitary supplies and toiletries through Feb. 20.

Since announcing the donation drive last month, MBSC has received more than $25,000 from residents, including actress Linda Hamilton and many children who brought in money from their own piggy banks, MBSC Manager/CEO Nereida J. Heath said Monday in a written statement. Susie and David Kim, owners of Ogden’s Cleaners located next door to MBSC, are also contributing to the relief effort by cleaning the donated clothing before it is sent to Haiti.

MBSC is located in the Malibu Colony Plaza at the intersection of Pacific Coast Highway and Webb Way, and is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
