A motorcyclist was killed in a fatal crash in Malibu Sunday night.
At 8:45 p.m. Sunday, June 26, the Malibu Search and Rescue team, LA County Fire Department and California Highway Patrol responded to a report of a motorcycle crash over the side on Mulholland Highway approximately one mile north of PCH.
While en route, Malibu SAR was informed that the motorcyclist, a 25 year-old-male from Ventura, had gone about 50 feet over the side. He was pronounced dead on scene.
The crash marks the 61st rescue Malibu SAR has responded to this year.
The Los Angeles County Department of Coroner did not respond to requests for identification of the victim by the time The Malibu Times went to print.
