Malibu resident releases book

Local Ako Eyong, who is a political exile from Cameroon, has recently published a novel titled, “The Vision of the Blind King.” The story is a historical fiction thriller that spills over into the present day. Set in Eyong’s native Cameroon, the novel examines the political, economic and socio-cultural issues that affect society. 

“The Vision of the Blind King” is available on Amazon. Eyong plans to conduct local readings. 

While living in Cameroon, Eyong worked as a cartoonist for the country’s largest privately owned English newspaper.
