Malibu resident Julien Dubois was awarded a doctorate in neural sciences and computation from the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena on June 14. His thesis discusses conscious and unconscious vision with MRI. In 2010, Dubois also received a doctorate in Toulouse, France. He is married to Malibu native Christine Waljeski.
