In appreciation for all the training she received from the California Wildlife Center, Alessandra DeClario presented the California Wildlife Center with a painting she began ten years ago, about the same time the center first opened. A hit-and-run accident caused DeClario to put the painting “on the back burner” while she recovered. She felt it appropriate to present the painting to the California Wildlife Center at its Aug 10 “Way Wild” annual fundraiser to, she said, “help us remember its roots and to forge ever forward.”
