As longtime residents of Malibu Country Estates, we have watched City Councils come and go over the years. Finally, we now have a City Council that governs with civility, maturity and intelligence. They have healed the wounds with outside agencies that were inflicted by prior councils. They have negotiated with California State Parks to allow us to remain on Bluffs Park until a suitable alternative can be found. They have obtained millions of dollars in grants to improve our roads, clean our water, restore Malibu Creek and Lagoon, and design our two new parks in Las Flores and Trancas Canyon,
We are appalled by the way a small group of very well financed individuals can vilify and slander this council and candidates Jeff Jennings and Ken Kearsley. Jeff Jennings and Ken Kearsley are thoughtful, honest and hardworking public servants who have consistently put the best interests of our community first. We hope you join us on April 13 and vote to keep Jeff Jennings and Ken Kearsley on our Malibu City Council. In addition, we hope you will cast your third vote for Pamela Conley Ulich, a young mother with fresh enthusiasm for the future of our city.
