Caltrans advises commuters to expect delays at Malibu Canyon Road and Pacific Coast Highway Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 11-12, from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.
On Monday, the no. 2 southbound lane as well as its corresponding shoulder and sidewalk on Malibu Canyon Road will be closed for conduit installation, for signal improvement. Meanwhile, alternating lanes will be closed in both directions on PCH for the “installation of the new signal loop detectors.” Caltrans emphasizes that while one lane will remain open in each direction, delays will occur.
On Tuesday, the same southbound lane, shoulder and sidewalk will be closed for intersection restoration.
