A dead body is discovered … yesterday … at Bluffs Park.
And the person had been dead for a long time.
A hiker discovered the remains and called the sheriff’s office shortly after 9 o’clock yesterday.
Homicide detectives were called in… and worked all day gathering evidence before the coroner wasd called in to remove the remains.
Deputies say they could not determine the gender or approximate age of the corpse.
That will be up to the coroner’s office.

Malibu voters may have their chance to tell the school board what they think about this … tomorrow … here in Malibu.
The school board will meet tomorrow afternoon and evening … at Malibu City Hall.
There will be a public comment period on the agenda for a closed-door meeting … at 4:30.
The general public comment window is later tomorrow night.
