Surfers Catch Some Waves At Big Dume

Temperatures will be warm by the beach as Labor Day Weekend marks the unofficial end of summer.

A high of 77 degrees is in the forecast for Saturday and 76 degrees for Sunday,  according to the National Weather Service.

Both evenings will cool off around 63 degrees with winds up to 20 MPH.

On Monday, temperatures will stay cooler with patchy morning fog and a high around 74 degrees.

Rip currents and strong swells are expected through Saturday. If you’re planning your weekend by the beach, be sure to stay near lifeguard stations and if caught in a rip current, swim parallel to the shore.

The Malibu Kiwanis Club is hosting the 33rd Annual Chili Cook-Off throughout the weekend in Malibu, beginning Friday night at 6 p.m. The event will begin at 11 a.m. on Sat. Aug 30- Mon. Sept. 1.

The Adamson House will also offer special holiday weekend tours starting at 1 p.m.
