Power was restored to Pacific Coast Highway by 12:40 p.m. today.
A power outage had affected businesses, homes and traffic lights on Pacific Coast Highway and surrounding areas between Cross Creek to Topanga since 4:42 a.m. today, Friday.
Underground high voltage electrical components failed, and needed to be replaced, according to Southern California Edison. Sections in the east side area were turned back on by another source.
As of noon, power in the general area from Cross Creek to Rambla Pacifico was still out, but was restored by 12:40 p.m.
