The Malibu High School girls cross country team placed 11th out of 22 teams in the Division IV CIF Prelims last Saturday, Nov. 14.
The Sharks were led by junior Abby Blackwood, who finished third in a time of 18:06.00, and freshman Claudia Lane, who finished fifth in a time of 18:07.00. Both girls will advance to CIF finals at Mt. Sac on Saturday, Nov. 21, for their individual performances.
