Sirens: Malibu Crime Report July 25-26

The following incidents were reported between 7/25-26:

7/25

Stolen Identity

A case of identity theft was reported after $2,278.10 was falsely charged on June 13 at a local clothing store.

Cash Grab

A residence on PCH was burglarized, with $20,000 cash stolen and an upstairs bedroom ransacked.

7/26

Restaurant Rip-off

A patron at a restaurant on PCH had belongings stolen from her chair, including a Louis Vuitton purse, iPhone, Ray-Ban sunglasses and a Michael Kors watch, valued at $2,250 total.

Dine and Dash

A backpack containing an iPhone, watches and a wallet with gift cards, debit cards and credit cards was stolen from a patron at a restaurant on PCH.
