Residents have until Thursday, Aug. 13 to submit a rebuttal against a special municipal election for the Civic Center Northeast Specific Plan, according to the City.
Also known as the Whole Foods and the Park Shopping Center, the development’s application was considered during a City Council meeting on July 20, requiring the commercial project’s specific plan to be placed on the ballot for final approval by Malibu’s voters.
As part of the proposed development’s approval process, a special election was scheduled by City Council for Tuesday, Nov. 3, coinciding with elections across the State of California.
