A home designed by renowned architect Frank Gehry on Broad Beach is on the market for $57.5 million, according to Haute Living.Â
High-profile CEO Burton Borman occupied the 11,000-square-foot beachfront home until his death last year. The house boasts six bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a tennis court, spa, pool and fireplace, along with 160 feet of beach frontage.Â
In the early 1980s, Borman commissioned Gehry to design his dream Malibu home. The seaside residence took five years to build and was completed in 1990, despite construction and coastal permit delays. He built the house as a place where his family and friends could gather and enjoy living on the ocean.
Its real estate agent estimates that if the house sells at its listed price, it could easily “top all record prices” on the exclusive Broad Beach.Â
