International PCB expert Dr. David Carpenter will host a town hall meeting to discuss PCB exposure at Malibu schools this Tuesday, March 1, at 7 p.m. at Pepperdine School of Law, Room C, 24255 Pacific Coast Highway.
Carpenter will give a presentation on PCBs and then answer questions from the audience in response to the concerns of several parents and teachers about the health risk of PCBs in Malibu classrooms.Â
A professor of environmental health sciences at the University at Albany’s School of Public Health and Director of the University at Albany’s Institute for Health and the Environment, Carpenter visits Malibu with over 40 years of experience researching PCBs and PCB-exposed populations.
