Sycamore School students celebrated the last days of Chinese New Year with arts and crafts. To prepare for the closing festival, participants painted roosters and the Chinese character for “good luck” on red lanterns.
Every student received a red envelope and a good luck bracelet, and ate dumplings for wealth to come in the New Year. Sycamore school mom Ginger Che taught the students to say, “Happy New Year” in Chinese, and made a wishing wall for the student posters.
