The Malibu Times hosted its annual Easter Coloring Contest for children ages four to 12 years old. Entries were split into three categories, based on age: four to six years old, seven to nine years old and 10 to 12 years old.
Bridget Shanahan, five, won first place in the four to six years old age category. Enzo Longo, nine, took home first for the seven to nine years old category and Michaela Kory, 11, won the prize for 10 to 12 year olds. The winners’ submissions are pictured.
The Malibu Times would also like to announce the honorable mentions. In the four to six year old age category, London Runyan (four), Zachary Wiezorek (five), Lilie Szostak (five), Nicola Paquette (five), Remington Runyan (six) and Nina (six) all earned honorable mentions. For the seven to nine years old category, Michael Longo (eight), Whitney Shanahan (nine) and Cody Paquette (nine) earned honorable mentions. Rio McBreen (10), Sophia Jubin (12) and Ashlyn Kunerth (12) earned honorable mentions in their age range, 10 to 12 years old.
