The second season of “The Singing Bee,” a television series that tests contestants’ knowledge of lyrics to well-known songs, will air Jan. 15 and will feature Roger Cain of Malibu as its band’s guitarist.
Cain has a degree from the Musician’s Institute of Technology and the L.A. Recording Workshop. He has played in original bands and cover bands performing a wide variety of music including rock, reggae and country, and has worked with artists such as George Strait, Michael Bolton and Al Green. His brother Dean is an actor, and his father Christopher is a director.
