As many as 10 people could be in the race for two City Council seats. The deadline to enter the campaign was this week Friday at 4:30 p.m.
Those who have submitted their candidacy papers with at least 20 valid signatures verified by the county and are official candidates are Ed Gillespie, Harold Greene, Kofi , Lou La Monte, John Mazza, Laura Rosenthal, Steve Scheinkman and Mike Sidley
Matthew Katz and Jan Swift submitted their candidacy papers before the deadline and are awaiting county verification.
Makan Delrahim, Walt Keller and Regan Schaar pulled papers for possible council runs but did not enter the race.
Election Day is on April 13.
