The Toys for Tots collection event was held locally Dec. 9. The event featured caroling, homemade appetizers, and drew more than 100 children and attendees. Staff Sergeant Hector Flores estimated more than $2,000 worth of toys were received. The donations will be delivered by the Marines to local children in need this holiday season.
