I have always wondered if there might be a better way to stop development in the Civic Center. It seems that lawsuits have been the primary weapon used against development thus far, but let’s face it, the lawyers are the ones who win in the end.
Laureen Sills seems to be the only candidate working to find a solution to halting further development in the Civic Center. LocalLandsinLocalHands.com is a solution we can all work towards, forming a coalition to take control over development. It has worked in other cities like Boulder, Colorado.
I look forward to electing Sills to council to see what all of us can do when working together against further development in our beautiful city.
