Fred D. Speights III, 74, died of an accidental cause on July 7 in Los Angeles.
Fred was born on Oct. 25, 1943, in Malibu. He graduated from LA High School. Fred loved gardening, doing handyman work around his home and spending time with his children.
His parents, Fred D. Speights Jr. and Dorothy Speights, and his sister Sharon Speights, preceded him in death. Fred is survived by his children, Stephanie and Terryl, who are also based in LA.
As per his request, a funeral will not be held.
