The upper public arena at Malibu Equestrian Park has been closed due to many of the areas being unusable due to soil stability problems, according to the City of Malibu.
Heavy rains as well as past issues are to blame for the conditions and the city is currently working on how to fix the problem, said a spokesperson for the Parks and Recreation Department.
The lower show arena is available for public riders to use until repairs to the upper arena can be completed.
