From performing arts to a book signing, there is plenty to do in Malibu today.
At 2 p.m. at Bank of Books near Point Dume, Susan Armenti will host a book signing and reading for profound new book “Sensation in the Night: Waking Up to Breast Cancer.” The book is a memoir as well as a guide for the newly diagnosed. In this book Armenti takes you on her journey so you are more prepared for yours as patient or caretaker.
At 4:30 p.m. Tales by the Sea hosts “Bottom Up: Voices of Descent and Ascent,” a reading conceived by 14 poets, at a home in Malibu.
At 7 p.m. the Pepperdine Center for the Arts presents “An Evening with Clint Black,” at Smothers Theatre.
