The checkpoint conducted by Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department on Friday, Sept. 5 tallied up 30 arrests, including one for DUI and two for outstanding warrants.
Additional arrests made on Friday included six for suspended or revoked licenses and 21 unlicensed drivers. The checkpoint was held on Pacific Coast Highway between Webb Way and Cross Creek Road.

- 1,642 drivers checked at checkpoint
- 1 DUI – alcohol suspect arrested
- 2 suspects arrested for outstanding warrants and sent to court

- 2 vehicles stored for 1 day
- 5 vehicles impounded for 30 days
