Alberto Perusset completed his third triple barefoot marathon in Lake Tahoe Sept. 27-29. The race marked his 42nd marathon run barefoot and his 81st marathon overall. His three marathon times from Friday, Saturday and Sunday totaled 17 hours and 87 minutes.
Perusset trains six miles at the Pepperdine track during the week and 17 to 19 miles along Pacific Coast Highway on Sundays. He also raced in the Long Beach marathon and is going to be one of the directors of the upcoming Malibu Marathon.
