Local resident Christopher Poptsis graduates from the Los Angeles County Fire Department FSA program. FSA is a highly trained fire fighting unit of LACoFD, with training including helicopter deployment into fire areas throughout the county. Poptsis, along with the top 10 graduates of his class, have been assigned to Station 9, which is located at Mount Pinetos in the Angeles National Forest.
