The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department responded to an incident in which a body was discovered in Calabasas at approximately 8:40 a.m., according to LASD deputy Grace Medrano.
The body, identified as a male adult, was found in the 25100 block of Calabasas Road. As reported by ABC News, Caltrans crews first discovered the body this morning.
Medrano said it was “unknown if there is any relation” to the previous bodies found in Calabasas, including that of 52-year-old Francisco Reynaldo Cruz and more recently, 19-year-old Roger Eli Chavez-Barahona.
There is no suspect or motive information available.
Lt. Moore of the LA County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau is leading the ongoing investigation.
