The National Weather Service is calling for Santa Ana winds of up to 55 miles an hour late Saturday evening through Sunday afternoon.
Mountains and valleys will see the threat of rapid fire spread and large fire growth.
The strongest winds are expected Saturday night into Sunday morning when gusts of 45 to 55 mph and locally higher are possible for the mountains.
MNoisture levels in the trees and brush locally are so low … that firefighters say we are in a November-style fire danger level here in the middle what is supposed to be our rain season.
