The Pepperdine University Waves baseball team won two and lost two of their games last week against the Cal Poly San Luis Obispo Mustangs and the Brigham Young University Cougars.
The Waves earned a decisive 7-4 win over the Mustangs March 29 in San Luis Obispo.
The team then returned home for a three game series against the BYU Cougars. The Waves suffered losses in the first two games, falling 4-5 in 12 innings March 31 and losing 8-3 April 1. The team bounced back for the final game, beating the Cougars 5-3 April 2.
Next, the Waves travel to California State University, Fullerton to take on the Titans before heading north Friday for a three game series versus the University of Portland Pilots.
